Overview

Deception Pass State Park houses the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Interpretive Center featuring photos, artifacts, and video from CCC projects from across the state.

Additional information

Located in Bowman Bay, the center was originally built in the 1930s as a CCC bathhouse. In 1987, the building was renovated into a museum by CCC alumni and Washington State Parks staff. The center’s exhibits tell the incredible story of the CCC’s work across the state during the Great Depression.
