You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands. Cama Beach State Park

    A Park Ranger brings cool stuff out to a table in front of the historic store and interacts with guests on what the items are and how they were used. Items that could be on the table include: a whale rib, red tail hawk (stuffed), a beaver (stuffed), whale lice, and many other items the Ranger thinks are cool.

Fort Worden State Park

  1. Upholstered Furniture Forms

    This two-week course will cover the design and construction of a small, upholstered ottoman, footstool, or bench. The first week, you'll explore the construction techniques of a small upholstered low seat. The second week is a continuation but also an exploration into sculptural form, either through a new object or continuing and adding parts to the seat from the first week.

Seaquest State Park

    Meet at the playground in the day-use area. This 1-mile, flat-terrain guided walk will take visitors through the rich understory of forest plants and beneath towering tall trees. State Park Free Days

  1. State Parks Discover Pass Free Day

    To celebrate Free Fishing Weekend, today is a State Parks "free day" when a Discover Pass is not required to visit a state park or lands managed by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. Please note, free days apply only to day use (not overnight stays or rented facilities). A Discover Pass is still required to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources on this day.
