  2. Junior Ranger program - nature bingo

    Join naturalist and outdoor educator Cody Beebe for a fun hour of Junior Ranger nature bingo games! We will learn about our northwest plants and animals as we play a time-tested game of nature bingo while weaving in some of Cody's own great nature stories. Includes a nature stroll. Ages 4-12; small children need to be accompanied by an adult.

    Antoinette Botsford has traveled throughout the world collecting and telling stories. For the last several years her focus has been the true stories of families living on Orcas Island. Her present research focuses on the old homesteads on the land that became Moran State Park as well as an ongoing park 'inhabitant' the 'angel of Mt. Constitution.' For all ages; children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult.

  4. Cascade Lake Kokanee & Moran Creek Hatchery tour

    July 28, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Moran Creek Hatchery located at the Cascade Lake Day-Use Area

    Local fisheries biologist Mike O'Connell will host a talk about the life history of the kokanee (landlocked sockeye) salmon in Cascade Lake. A tour of the Moran Creek Hatchery at the park will be included! All ages; children must be accompanied by an adult.
