Enjoy a festival, join a fun run, tour an interpretive site, or just make your own celebration with a family picnic or camping trip. Choose from dozens of activities and events throughout the year. You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands.     IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild is an outdoor concert series in stunning landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Hunter Noack will bring his 9-foot Steinway grand piano to Historical Sacajawea State Park to perform live and outdoors. To meet the acoustical challenges of performing in the wild, music is transmitted to the concert-goers via wireless headphones. State Park Free Days

  1. State Parks Discover Pass Free Day

    September 28, 2019, All Day

    To celebrate the National Public Lands Day, today is a State Parks "free day" when a Discover Pass is not required to visit a state park. Please note, free days apply only to day use (not overnight stays or rented facilities). A Discover Pass is still required to access lands managed by the Washington state departments of Natural Resources and Fish & Wildlife on these days.
