First Day Hike - explore the fort

Wednesday, January 1, 2020

Have you ever wondered about the wandering dark rooms of Fort Casey? Join Isaac, a well-versed volunteer, who will guide participants to explore the masterpieces that make Fort Casey historic. The hike will traverse up, down, and all throughout the fort and its many dark rooms. Bring weather appropriate-clothing, water bottle, hiking shoes and a flashlight. The terrain is moderate and will vary throughout the one-mile hike. For ages 8+; children must be accompanied by an adult. Not ADA/stroller accessible. Please meet in the north corner of the fort parking lot, and be sure to join us for refreshments after the hike. Refreshments for this event are made possible by Friends of Whidbey State Parks and Manufactured Home and RV Show Association.
