The Art of Paper Cutting with Erika Bass

Saturday, March 7, 2020

In this fun two-day workshop, students will learn the art of paper cutting. After looking at some of the different world traditions of paper cutting, each person will design and cut two different projects. Using an exacto knife and cutting board, individuals will create a simple black and white piece to practice their technique, and then go on to make a second paper composition using gouache paint, adding texture and color to the two layers. At the end of the workshop, everyone will take home two finished works.
