You can submit your state park event via email to get it placed on the calendar. The Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks and state-managed recreation lands.     Spend a week living, learning, and playing music with masters of a wide variety of fiddling styles. Fiddle Tunes provides an opportunity to be in community with the bearers of fiddle traditions. The goals of the gathering are broader than improving your skills as a musician, and include discovering culture through music, learning music in a cultural context, and building lifelong relationships in the fiddle music community. To many, Fiddle Tunes is the finest summer fiddle camp in the US.

    Meet at Sunset Beach Bathhouse. Discover amazing animals, wacky wetlands and how to be a steward of parks while participating in a fun family-friendly program designed for youth ages 4 to 12. Junior Ranger programs are provided weekly on a different topic each week. All programs are subject to cancellation due to weather or staffing availability.

Seaquest State Park

  1. Mt. St. Helens Visitor Center formal talks

    June 1, 2018 - September 3, 2018 @ Mount St. Helens Interpretive Center

    These interpretive talks will immerse visitors in the history of Mt. St. Helens. Participants will travel through time to learn about the devastating 1980 eruption, the ever-changing landscape and story of recovery, the incredible return of wildlife and the important job volcanologists perform every day monitoring the Cascade Mountain range of volcanoes. Programs last 15 to 20 minutes and take place outside at the amphitheater.

  2. Junior Ranger program

    July 6, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Seaquest State Park

    These family-friendly evening programs are geared towards children of all ages and last approximately one hour. They provide the perfect blend of learning and entertainment for families camping at Seaquest or at the end of a long day trip. Park staff will give lessons on the local and regional wildlife, geology and ecosystems. Fun interactive crafts and activities are also scheduled.
