Led by Artistic Director John Clayton, Jazz Port Townsend is the summer jazz camp designed to take you to the next level of musicianship. There’s a lot to learn at Jazz Port Townsend in 2017. We’ve made changes in our Vocal Track and Educator Track we think you’ll love, and we have several instrumental faculty who are new this year. Whether it’s your first time here or your 31st, you’ll find lots of fresh input on how to improve throughout the year.

    Meet at Sunset Beach Bathhouse. Discover amazing animals, wacky wetlands and how to be a steward of parks while participating in a fun family-friendly program designed for youth ages 4 to 12.     Join Friends of Lime Kiln Society's naturalists as they lead explorations of the park and tidepools while sharing all of the cool things in our very own special microcosm of the Salish Sea. Seaquest State Park

  1. Mt. St. Helens Visitor Center formal talks

    June 1, 2018 - September 3, 2018 @ Mount St. Helens Interpretive Center

    These interpretive talks will immerse visitors in the history of Mt. St. Helens. Participants will travel through time to learn about the devastating 1980 eruption, the ever-changing landscape and story of recovery, the incredible return of wildlife and the important job volcanologists perform every day monitoring the Cascade Mountain range of volcanoes. Programs last 15 to 20 minutes and take place outside at the amphitheater.

    These family-friendly evening programs are geared towards children of all ages and last approximately one hour. They provide the perfect blend of learning and entertainment for families camping at Seaquest or at the end of a long day trip. Park staff will give lessons on the local and regional wildlife, geology and ecosystems. Fun interactive crafts and activities are also scheduled.
