Camano Historic Sites Tour weekend -
Kick off the weekend on Friday, March 24th, from 6-8pm, with a snapshot in time at the Cama Center located at Cama Beach State Park. Enjoy live programs highlighting the history of the park and history of logging on the Island. An old movie will be shown with popcorn provided.
Information, brochures, passports and a friendly face at the Norgaard Center in Stanwood, a great place to start your history tour.
Saturday all sites open from 10 am to 4 pm activities throughout the day (see website). There will be square dancing at the CWB Boathouse located at Cama Beach State Park in the evening from 7-9 pm.
Sunday all sites open from 10-3; there will be prize drawings at the Camano City school house at 3 pm.

Join the Admiralty Audubon Society for a field trip to look for birds that make Fort Flagler a stop on their spring migration. The walk will be led by Paula Vanderheul. The walk will begin at the parking lot near the sewer pond, then down to the beach and will finish with a walk on the spit between Kilisut Harbor and Port Townsend Bay. If anyone is interested in carpooling, meet and the Haines Park and Ride near the Port Townsend Safeway by 8:30 am. A Discover Pass is required at Fort Flagler.

The Friends of Fort Flagler would like to invite you to join them for their annual cleanup of the upper campground at Fort Flagler State Park. Meet at the gate to the upper campground. Bring rakes and push brooms. No power tools allowed.
