Beach Fest and Feast Event

Saturday, June 2, 2018

Come join us for Beach Fest & Feast! There will be Ivar's clam chowder, Taylor's Shellfish and hot dogs for lunch! Activities include: informative beach walks guided by Naturalists, educational displays, scavenger hunt and children’s activities, a 'shell-e-bration' award ceremony to celebrate the opening of the mouth of Terrell Creek to shellfish harvesting after a 10 year closure, and a ribbon cutting ceremony for new interpretive signs in the Park...'Jerry's Journey.' In addition to organized events, bring your shades & sunscreen to savor the freedom of exploring a mile and a half of pebbly saltwater shoreline and every intriguing, splashy tide pool along the way! Bring your kites to fly on gentle salt air breezes.
